Pliny’s Panel Discussion at Venice Biennale

On September 11, at the invitation of the Netherlands Architecture Institute, Pliny participated in roundtable discussions for the Dutch Pavilion of the Venice Biennale.

The 2008 Dutch Pavilion project was titled Archiphoenix: Faculties for Architecture. The project used a week of discussion and talks to explore the capabilities and capacities of architecture. Pliny was part of the roundtable discussion ‘Beyond the Sustainable: Challenging the Flow of Resources, Materials, and People’.

CMPBS in the News, Fall 2008 - Pliny acts as feature editor for Arcade Magazine

Pliny acted as feature editor for Arcade Magazine’s fall issue (Volume 27.01). The focus of the issue is waste, with topics ranging from water bottles designed for reuse, to recycling networks in the Danish town of Kalundborg. The magazine is available online and in select newsstands in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR.
