Please bring a non-perishable food item for our annual holiday party food drive – all donations go to Capital Area Food Bank. In high demand: Canned meat and vegetables (pop-tops preferred), pasta and pasta sauce, pinto beans, rice, healthy cereal, peanut butter, baby food and formula.
Due to the health concerns associated with bisphenol-a (BPA) in epoxy-based can linings, CMPBS recommends you donate safer alternatives. To the best of our knowledge, there are very few canned foods with BPA-free linings. For information on specific brands and their use of BPA, we suggest calling companies directly.

Central Texas Wildfires
Friday, September 9th, 2011CMPBS has been receiving many phone calls and emails from friends and family concerned about the devastating Central Texas wildfires. Fortunately, we have been spared the ravages of the wildfires here at Max’s Pot, however, conditions continue to be extremely vulnerable and the loss of human life, flora, fauna and property is devastating and very close to us to the east. We appreciate everyone’s concern and we send our thoughts and support to those effected by area fires.
