In May 2009, the Global Health and Safety Initiative released the Eco-Health Footprint Guide: Measuring Your Organization’s Impact on Public Health and the Environment. CMPBS’s co-director Gail Vittori co-authored the guide with partners Michael Berg, Michelle Lupinski of the Global Health and Safety Initiative and Mike Wallace of Wallace Partners. The guide provides a metric for the health care industry to “measureably advance its environmental stewardship goals and address characteristics unique to the healthcare sector.”
